Nice park, big public swimming pool, tennis courts, baseball field, soccer and good wooded walking trail. The kids liked the playground because it was like an obstacle course, with a good pavilion next to it.
It’s pretty hot here on the playground in the summer because everything is uncoated metal. The swings are cool saucer swings! There are lots of covered picnic tables nearby. You can see the pool in the distance through the trees from the playground. There’s a walking path with dog cleanup stations.
Beautiful, cozy meeting place.

Pool is nice. Has a high dive. Go on Sundays as there are less people. They give rain checks if thunder comes through.
The playground is great and the atmosphere feels fairly safe even in the evening. Also very clean as well.
Thank goodness our leaders still care about great public spaces where we can cool off and come together. And a high dive and splash pad!
